Biography

Abraham was born about 1744 in Goochland County, Virginia. He is the son of Abraham Womack and Ann Unknown. He passed away on 10 April 1834 in Monroe County, Georgia.[1]

Abraham married Judith Minter, daughter of John Oliver and Elizabeth Morgan, about 1765, probably in Chatham County, North Carolina.

He married second Lucy Moody on 8 May 1825 in Jones County, Georgia.

For his Revolutionary War service, Abraham Womack drew for acreage in the Georgia Lottery of 1827. A grant in Monroe County, Georgia was approved on 16 December 1829.[2]
