Biography

William Lavander Pope, son of Abner Monroe Womack and Mary Ann Cantrell, was born on 19 October 1855 in Warren County, Tennessee and passed away on 1 April 1947[1] in McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee.

He married Mildred Ann Hennessee on 6 December 1877 in Warren County, Tennessee.[2][3][4] They had 8 children known to me.

Census History

1900 Federal - The family was living in Warren County, Tennessee.[5] Lavander was head of household and a farmer. In the household with him were his wife, Mildred, and children Clara, Elmer B., Claude, Lee Roy, Alice, and Alton. Two children died young: W. Monroe Womack was born and died in 1880; Flora Bell Womack was born and died in 1891.

Burial

Both William L. P. Womack and Mildred Ann (Hennessee) Womack are buried in Riverside Cemetery, McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee.
