Margaret Ader Womble was born in McNairy County, Tennessee in November 1866. Her family moved to Arkansas when she was a child. Her parents are not known at present.
On October 13, 1884, Margaret Ader Womble married James Frost "Jim" Snow, a prosperous farmer in Campbell Township, Lawrence County, Arkansas, USA. The couple lived in Lawrence County and had 8 children:[1]
Unfortunately, Margaret (Womble) Snow died on February 6, 1900, in Lawrence County, Arkansas. She was buried in the Snow Cemetery, Walnut Ridge, Lawrence County, Arkansas, USA.[2]
Her husband, James Frost Snow, survived her passing and remarried later that same year (1900) to Ada D. Barker b: 27 Sep 1875 in Tennessee. She was from Poinsett County, Arkansas, about 40 miles south of Walnut Ridge. They had at least 10 more children together. When he died in 1937, Jim Snow was buried was buried in the Snow Cemetery near his first wife's grave. When Ada (Barker) Snow died in 1961, she was buried next to her husband on the other side from Margaret (Womble) Snow. [3]
