Biography

Nathaniel G. Wood was born on 16 Sep 1761 in Sharon, Litchfield, Connecticut, son of David Wood (~1716 - 1805).[1]

His brother was Elijah Wood (1757 - ).

Nathaniel married Zilpah Sprague (1766 - 1849) in 1783. Their children were:

  1. Laura (Wood) Hess (1792 - 1881)
  2. James David Wood (1801 - 1891).

Nathaniel's daughter was Mary (Wood) Chandler (1790 - 1860).

Nathaniel died on 31 May 1839 in Camillus, Onondaga, New York, United States aged 77.

In the 1790 census Nathaniel (age 28) was living in Ballston, Saratoga County, New York, USA.[2]

In the 1800 census Nathaniel (age 38) was living in Milton, Saratoga County, New York, USA.[3]

In the 1810 census Nathaniel (age 48) was living in Camillus, Onondaga County, New York, USA.[4]

Nathaniel died at the age of 77 on 31 May 1839 in Camillus, Onondaga County, New York, USA.[8]
