The Stockton (California) Record published a 50th Anniversary announcement for Mr. and Mrs. Byron Wood on Sunday, August 3, 1975. The article said they were married 50 years on July 26 (1975) and the reception was in the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rubino. Their marriage was in New Blaine Arkansas. The couple had lived in Stockton for 32 years and were active members of the East Side Presbyterian Church. Other mentioned attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Paul Chilcott of Huntington Peach (Beach?); Mr. and Mrs. Jack Clarkson of El Cerrito; Mr. and Mrs. Ole Holsti of Durham, N.C. (they were co-hosts). Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Maurer; Mr. and Mrs. Garland Tinsley (brothers-in-law); Mrs. O.A. Johnson (long time friend from Oklahoma).
