Biography

Herbert T Wood wed Eva Bankston September 2, 1917 in Miller County, Arkansas.[1]

Herbert Wood was enumerated as head of the household at Improved Clay Road, Sulphur, Miller County, Arkansas for the April 4, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1896 in Texas and married. He was first married at the age of twenty-one. He was an owner and a farmer on a general farm as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Eva Wood, son Hamel J Wood, daughter Maxine Wood, son H Curtis Wood and hired hand Arthur Brackman.[2]

On April 1, 1935, Herbert T Wood lived in Sulphur Township, Miller County, Arkansas.[3]

Herbert T Wood was enumerated as head of the household at Sulphur Township, Miller County, Arkansas for the April 25, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1896 in Texas and married. He owned a home worth $2000. He was a foreman (road construction) as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Eva Wood, daughter Maxine Wood and son Curtis Wood.[3]
