Jane is?
a father that lived there and other siblings baptised there . The child was buried at the age of five. His parents, William and probably Jane his wife. appear to have died in 1727. (within a week of each other)
There was another Samuel Wood , son of John baptised in 1725, sadly he too died in 1731. These are not nobility (who almost invariably are referred to by Mr or Esq, or if they have a knighthood by their title or the Rt Worshipful or other such words. This is an ordinary, probably quite poor family with a high rate of mortality.
Note also that the mother, Martha Drake is supposed to have died in Pennsylvania, two years before Samuel's birth.

Their religous convictions were not taken notice of, except to perhaps voice it. Under complanit of death or dismissal.
To look at just one profile may lead you to believe a Irish person, wouldnt be babtised in an english church. But thats speculation. Like this!
after all he is just 12 degrees from Victoria.
It was unlikely that the person born in Ireland would have been baptised in Yorkshire, England. Samuel Wood son of William baptised in 1724 in Hunslet was probably buried on the 8th Oct 1729. See https://www.freereg.org.uk ( search Wood, Hunslet, Yorkshire, West Riding.
