Harry Wood, the son of Ruxton Wood and his wife Margaret, née Howden, was born in 1903 at Barton-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire, England. His birth was registered in Q2 of that year.[1][2]
On the 15 Jan 1904 an article in the Lincolnshire Chronicle notes that Harry's father Ruxton was occupying a "dwelling house, with outbuildings and garden adjoining, situate on the Westfield Road, Barton, and containing 770 square yards".[3]
The 2 Apr 1911 census lists Harold Howden living at home with his parents and seven siblings at 11 Queens Avenue, Barton-upon-Humber.[4]
Sadly, Harry died at the age of 12 on 18 Feb 1916. He was buried in the municipal cemetery at Barton-upon-Humber.[5][6][7]
