[1] He married Dorcus “Lizzie” Abner on 12 December 1808 in Clay County, Kentucky. [2] He passed away in 1855 in Owsley County, Kentucky. He was interred in Old Richard Reynolds Cemetery, Cow Creek, Owsley County, Kentucky. [1]

John's estate passed probate on 8 October 1855 in Daviess, Kentucky, United States.[3]
