Amy was a Friend (Quaker)

Amey Wood, daughter of William Wood and Amey Clarke, was apparently born in Rhode Island in about 1721.^[1]

In Rhode Island, Amy married, 29 Jan 1756, William Barker, son of James and Elizabeth Barker of Dartmouth.^[2] William and Amy had four known children: John, born 9 Mar 1758,^[3] Caleb, born 6 Apr 1760,^[4] William, born 23 Oct 1761,^[5] and Amy, born 13 Dec 1763.^[6]
