In 1850 an Archibald Wood (80, b. VA, farmer) headed a household in Pulaski Co., KY with Sarah Wood (68, b. VA).

A Sally Hardgrove married Archibald Woods 20 Sep 1834 in Pulaski County, KY. An Eliza Ann Woods is listed in the following entry as marrying George Waddle 6 Oct 1835. Further down on the page an Eli H. Woods married Nancy F. Jasper 7 Jun 1836 and a John Woods married Henrietta Dunn 10 Aug 1836.^[1] These records were in the W section of a typed list alphabetized by the first letter of the groom's last name.

Archibald Wood, (age 85 of KY; b. in Alexandria County, VA; son of Archibald and Mary Woods) d. 4 Oct 1855.^[2]

He could be the uncle of Archibald Thomas Woods (1803-1875).
