Biography

Hugh was born in 1847 in Oughtibridge, a district of Bradfield, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of William Wood and Ann (Stanley) Wood.[1]

Hugh married Martha Turner in 1873 in the Wortley registration district.[2]

In the 1891 census Hugh (age 44) was the head of household in Gate, Bradfield, Yorkshire, England.[3]
