James T Wood was enumerated as son of the head of household at Queen City, Cass County, Texas for the May 11, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1893 in Texas and single. He was a farmer on a general farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Thomas Wood, wife Amazonia Wood, son Manton Wood, son Morris Wood and son Starling T Wood.[1]

He was noted as born 1896 in Texas and married. He was first married at the age of twenty-four. He was a renter and an engineer (railroad) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Mary Wood, son James Wood and daughter Mary Wood.[2]

On April 1, 1935, J T Woods lived in Shreveport, Louisiana.[3]

J T Woods was enumerated as head of the household at 906 East Houston Avenue, Ward 1, Marshall, Justice Precinct 3, Harrison County, Texas for the April 5, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1893 in Texas and married. He rented a home and was shown to be an engineer for the railroad as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Mary E Woods, son James T Woods and daughter Mary E Woods.[3]

James Taylor "Jim" Wood, Sr. is buried at Forest Park East Cemetery in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana.[4]
