"Hillsdale Daily News", Thursday, Jun 1, 1978 INEZ D. WOODARD, Miss Inez D. Woodard, 70, 475 W Hallett, died Wednesday morning at the Hillsdale Community Health Center. She was a lifetime resident of Hillsdale County and was born in Hillsdale Township Feb. 12, 1908 to Miles W. and Flora (Giauque) Woodard. Miss Woodard was an active member of the Bankers Baptist Church, organizing and teaching the first daily Vacation Bible School in Hillsdale County in 1929. She was actively involved with the Girls World Wide Guild of the Bankers Baptist Church. Miss Woodard was a member of the Bankers Grange and edited the Bankers Baptist Church Centennial History in 1937. She is survived by her mother, Flora Woodard, Hillsdale; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Mable) Champion, Hillsdale; Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Stanley, Hillsdale; three brothers, Clem Woodard, Tavares, Fla, Donald Woodard, Hillsdale; George Woodard, Hillsdale; 19 nieces and nephews, and 41 grand nieces and nephews. Two sisters and one nephew preceeded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bankers Baptist Church, Bankers. The Rev. Milton Walton will officiate. Burial will follow at Bankers Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home, Hillsdale.
