In 1853 the Woodford family, left New Zealand for settlement in Australia, sailing aboard the Oceanica including father Philip, mother Jane, and seven children. Annie is not recorded on the passenger list though the Oceanica arrived in Geelong on the 30th June 1853. Annie was perhaps born after arrival.
