Samuel was born in 1918. He was the son of Berley Woodham and Alma Skinner. In 1920, he was living with his parents, and was the only child in the home.[1] In 1930, the family was still living in Echo, Dale County, Alabama.[2] Samuel was still living with his parents in 1940.[3]
He passed away in 1964. His Alabama death certificate indicates he died on 08 Mar 1964.[4] However, his grave marker indicates 12 mar 1964. Burial was in the Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Dale County, Alabama.[5] His marker indicates he was a Tech 4 for the US Army during World War II.
