Henry Woodhouse was an early or significant Bermudan.

Henry was born in 1573. He was the son of Sir Henry Woodhouse and Anne Bacon, daughter of Sir Nicholas Bacon, Lord Keeper of the Great Seal.

Capt. Henry Woodhouse was a Stockholder in the London Company to Virginia i.e., Jamestowne. He never arrived in Virginia but became the Governor of Bermuda. The King of England promised Capt. Henry Woodhouse the Governorship of Virginia but never fulfilled his promise. Capt. Henry returned to England before his death.[1]

Henry Woodhouse was Governor of Bermuda from October 1623 to 13 January, 1627.[2]

He passed away in 1637. [3]

Hey Lindsay,

I am the leader of the Bermuda Project. Henry Woodhouse was a gov. of Bermuda AND he is very well documented because he was the son of the daughter of Sir Nicolas Bacon, Lord Keeper of the Seal for QEI.

I have a duplicate profile that I want to merge into this one. I am thinking this profile is the lowest with the right LNAB.

I will also be giving this profile the project treatment, PPP'd, Template and the addition of sources and bio.
