In the name of God Amen I John Woodland of the County of Princess Anne being sick and weak of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the same do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, Viz. Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Land all of my Estate that she has now in possession. Item I give unto my son John Woodland one Cow and Heifer, and about one year old, one feather Bed and furniture and my Shoe makers Tools, and three Head of sheep and my Coopers Tools. Item I give the use of all the remainder of my Estate after all my debts are fully paid unto my wife Rhoda during her Widowhood to bring up my Children not impovering her to Sell land or waste the Estate only for the necessity of the Family and at end of her Widowhood I desire the whole of my Estate then remaining may be equally divided between all my Children which I have not already mentioned excluding Sarah and John from any part of the same, only the bequest(?) to each of them already made and my home I give to the use of all my sons. and Lastly, I constitute and appoint my loving Wife Rhoda and son John my sole and whole Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoking and annulling all other Wills and Testaments by me formerly made and ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal this twenty third day of March, one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine.

The above last Will and Testament of John Woodland dec.d was proved according to Law by the Oath of Cason Moore, one of the Witnesses thereto and is Ordered to be Recorded and on the Motion of the Executors therein named who made Oath and gave Bond with Security according to Law Certificate is granted them for Obtaining Probat thereof in due form
