My name at birth was Tanya Kelly Woodrum, but I was adopted at age 4 when my mother remarried to Everette Boyd Bolick and my name was changed to Bolick. I was born February 19, 1968 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. My mother Burnetta Jean Abney Wilson (then Woodrum) and father William Franklin Woodrum, and my maternal grandmother Edith Stella Blackburn Abney and grandfather Claude Thurman Abney were present at my birth. I was given the nickname "Pete" that day by my grandfather because he could not remember the "fancy" name my mother (with my grandmother's assistance) had chosen for me.
I am a graduate student at Pacifica Graduate Institute of California, in the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program with concentrations in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling and Depth Psychology (Jungian).
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from James Madison University of Virginia (concentrations in Social Inequality and Public Policy, Political and Global Analysis, and Environment, Technologies and Innovations), and an Associates of Arts and Sciences degree in Liberal Arts from Lord Fairfax Community College of Virginia.
I am a Colonel of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, and a Life Member of the Board of Directors for the Woodstock Museum of Shenandoah County, Virginia, Incorporated.

Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree?
I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?

How is it going so far? Was the first page of the How-Tos helpful or did it leave you with questions?
Questions? Just ask on my page. We want to help!

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
A warm welcome to the WikiTree family! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used and it is FREE. WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
Were really glad youre here. More importantly, have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest.
Ludwig :)
