Cornelius was born in 1893.

In 1905 the family lived in Yonkers, Westchester, New York. [1] Cornelious Schellengerhoutt (37) moulder iron and Anna Schellengerhoutt (35) from Ireland with children John Schellengerhoutt (15), Cornelious Schellengerhoutt (10), Catharine Schellengerhoutt (3) & Thomas Schellengerhoutt (1)

In 1908 the Schellingerhoutt family lived in 124 Palisade Ave, Yonkers, New York.[2] Widow Anna Schellingerhoutt and John J Schellingerhoutt (conductor)

In 1909 the Woods family lived in Mulford Street, Yonkers. Widow Annie, Cornelius Woods (clerk) & John Woods (employee carpet works) [3]

In 1910 the Woods family lived in Mulford Street, Yonkers, Westchester, New York. [4] Widow Anna Woods (42) a Seraper (?) in Carpet Shop, 9 children born & only 3 living, with children, Cornelius Woods (16) & Catherine Woods (8). Cornelius' father's birthplace is listed at New Jersey & his mother's birthplace as Ireland.

In 1917 Cornelius L Schellengerhout was a Chauffeur.[6]

In June 1917, Corneilous Leo Schellingerhoutt, (Birth Date 29 Oct 1893) lived at 83 Prince St, Hastings, New York.[7] He is listed as married with a child and described as tall, slender, blue eyes & brown hair. In fact he didn't marry until August that year.

Cornelius L. Woods married his step-sister, Agnes M. Franklin on 30 August 1917 at Yonkers, New York. [8]

Cornelius passed away in 1958 and is buried at the Saint Marys Cemetery, Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. [13]
