John was born about 1841.
John Woods (27) married Cherry Sloan (18) on 5 June 1868 in County Armagh. Fathers John Sloan and David Woods. [1][2]
On 31 March 1901 the Woods family lived in Woodhouse Street, Portadown (Urban), Armagh. John Woods (63) Clothier with widowed daughter-in-law, Margaret Woods (32) House Keeper and grandson John Woods (7) who was born in America. Methodist [3]
He passed away in 1910, aged 72 from Brights Disease. Married and a Clothier, grandson John Woods was present at his death.
Probate of the Will of John Woods late of Woodhouse Street Portadown County Armagh Merchant (Retired) who died 9 December 1910 granted at Armagh to Hugh Wallace Merchant and William Hall Hotel Keeper. [4]
