William Ray Woods, 75, a retired Great Falls pharmacist, died Wednesday in a local nursing home after a prolonged illness. His body has been cremated. A private family service is planned.

He married Eva R. Thomas on June 8, 1936, in Billings. Woods was a pharmacist in Billings before coming to Great Falls in 1949 as pharmacist for Montana Deaconess Medical Center.

He opened Second Avenue Pharmacy at 2020 Second Ave. N. in 1952 and operated it for 25 years. He then was pharmacist at Cascade County Hospital for several years.
