Biography

Birth

John Woods was born in 1641 in Marlborough Mass on land which later became part of Southboro Mass. Originally Middlesex County, later it became part of Worcester County.
John Woods was born at Sudbury, Massachusetts on May 8, 1641, son of John and Mary (Parmenter) Woods. [1][2]

Marriage

John married about 1669, Lydia Rice, daughter of Edward and Agnes (Bent) Rice. [2]

Death

John died at Marlborough on April 5, 1716. [3] [2]
Burial: He is buried in the Old Congregational Church cemetery near I-495 and Rte 9 (The Worcester Pike).
As John died intestate, his widow Lydia, with their children, presented a distribution and division of the estate to the court on August 17, 1716. [4]
