Aaron was born on 2 January 1905 in Hale, Alabama, USA. Son of Agnes Hill [1]

On 27 April 1910 unmarried Agnis Hill (27) farm laborer, mother of 4 children, 2 living, with sons Elles Woods (9) and Aaron Woods (7), all Alabama born, lived in Laneville and Demopolis Road, Precinct 8, Hale, Alabama, USA. [2]

When Aaron was 16 he married Mary Smith on 13 October 1921 in Gallion, Hale, Ala. The couple had 6 children: Daniel Woods, Marie Woods, Richard Woods, Aaron Woods, Roy Roger Woods, and Sophronia Woods.[3][4]

In the 1930 census Aaron (age 25) was living in Dundee, Hale, Alabama, USA. Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head: Head. Note: Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head: Head.[5]
