Syracuse Herald American Sunday 30AUG1981 page D-11 col 1 Joseph Woods, 81, of 423 Garden City Drive, Mattydale, died Friday at Loretto Geriatric Center. A native of Ogdensburg and a resident of Mattydale for 16 years, he was employed as a union carpenter for numerous contractors. He was a member of Local 12 of the Carpenters Union for 37 years. Surviving are two sons, Joseph F. of Baldwinsville and Melvin F. of Mattydale; one daughter, Patricia Wojalewski of Syracuse; one brother, George Woods of Florida; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Services will be tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. at the Kreuger Funeral Home, Mattydale. Mass will be at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Central Square. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
