David was born in 1889. He is the son of William Woods and Esther Harrison.

On 31 March 1901 Robert John Woods (17) & David Woods (17) lived in Drummannon, Annaghmore, Armagh.[1] They were servants for Edward (60) & Eliza (54) Redman.

David S Woods (aged 20), a labourer, emigrated from Londonderry, Ireland 15 May 1909 going to New York, USA on board SS Caledonia.[2]

David Woods married Annie Collen about 1916 and they had a son, Robert Woods (1917)

On 6 June 1917 the Woods family lived at 955 Fourth Ave, Queens, New York. David was a Motorman with a wife & child.[3]

In January 1920 the Woods family lived at 1215 Van Alst Ave, Queens Assembly District 1, Queens, New York. David Woods (30) Laborer (Gas Works) & Annie Woods (22) and son, Robert Woods (2) with Scottish boarder Robert Fleming (27) & Irish boarder Francis McColl (35). David's Naturalization Status - Papers Submitted, Immigration Year - 1909.[4]

David passed away in June 1920.
