Biography
Mary was born at North Street, Newtownards in 1886, parents Robert Woods (labourer) and Sarah Flannigan, Eliza Jane Flannigan present at her birth.
Mary Woods (21) spinner, married Andrew Boal (24) smiths helper, on 22 December 1907 at St Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Belfast, Co. Antrim. Fathers Robert Woods (labourer) and Andrew Boal (smith's helper). Witnesses John Baol & Mary Ann Gordon.
Mary passed away in 1908, aged 18, at Hanwood St, Belfast giving birth to their premature daughter, Annie Boal who also died.
Mary was buried on 19 August 1908 at the Belfast City Cemetery.[1]
