Biography

Adam was born 9 June 1803 in Pennsylvania. His father was killed while in Kentucky by Indians while he was less than a year old.[1] [2]

He married Margaret Campbell in 1827 and moved immediately to Adams County, Pennsylvania where he opened a tailor shop. They had several children[3] and later packed their wagon and moved to Ohio[4]continuing as a tailor.[5][6] followed later by another move to Indiana.[7]

Children include:

  3. Ann born ~1836
  4. Catherine born ~1840
  5. Margaret Amelia born ~1847
  6. James Foster born 1851

He passed away 12 May 1871 in Warsaw Indiana. [8]
