On 1 June 1689, in Henrico County, Virginia, Robert Woodson provided 100 acres to daughter Sarah Mosby, wife of Edward Mosby.[2]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Robert by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Robert:

I have detached two profiles previously attached as children - Stephen (Woodson-379) and Agnes (Woodson-383). There is no source cited in either profile for the relationship and neither of this is named as a child in the entry for Robert in Adventurers of Purse and Person. If anyone is aware of a reliable source for the claim, please weigh in and we can reattach them.

Woodson-1951 and Woodson-18 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles represent the same individual based on the line of descent from the unsourced profile Woodson-1951.

Profile managers, this profile has a lot of duplication in it, and a bunch of copy/paste from some other source. Would one of you like to take on bringing this profile's narrative to pre-1700 standards? If not, I can ask a member of the US Southern Colonies "Bio Builders" team to work on it. Thanks.

Hi Cynthia, sorry for the delay in responding. Do you have a source for the nick-name? I'm actually not seeing a source for any nickname.

Since there is no evidence of Margaret Buckner (Buckner-171) as a wife of Robert Woodson, and the dates on her profile are completely incompatible, I've removed her from this profile. If anyone has sources, please add them and reattach her.

Woodson-821 and Woodson-18 appear to represent the same person because: Please merge. Thanks.

Margaret Buckner should probably be removed as wife also (b about 1652, married 1650)

I removed Sarah Winston as his wife (who's his mother).

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Woodson-18 seems to be a match, but there seems to be discrepancies that may indicate more than one Robert has been merged (e.g. "He was an only child." and the extra wife... his mom also being his wife is a definite oops)
