Samuel married Hannah Werley on 10 August 1796 in Handsworth, St Mary, England.^[2]

Samuel died on 16 December 1839 in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England.

Research Notes

• The marriage needs more research to determine if this is the correct Hannah, as the current consensus in family trees is that she was Hannah Worley born 1769, but that makes her 47 years old when her last child was born.
• In the 1841 census Hannah (age 65) was on Sandwell Road, West Bromwich North East, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England. This is a more realistic date of birth of 1776.^[3]

• In the 1851 census Hannah (age 74), Proprietor of Houses, was on Sandwell Lane, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England a few doors away from Aaron and his family. She probably died in the region of 1858 when a second administration to Samuel's will was granted (see will transcript).^[4]
• There is a possible birth of Hannah Worley Turton, daughter of Phoebe Turton, she was baptised on 24 February 1775 in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England.^[5] She was baseborn, so was the name Worley included as her father's name, if so that may have been the name she normally used.
• Probable burial: Hannah (born 1775) was buried on 29 January 1857 in West Bromwich, Christ Church, Staffordshire, England.^[6]
