Biography

Thomas Woodward was born about 1700.^[1] He was the son of Daniel Woodward and Elizabeth Dana. He was also the nephew of the John Woodward who was born on 28 March 1649.^[1]

He married Dorothy Parke on 18 May 1725 in Preston, New London County, Connecticut.^[1][2][3][4]

They had the following children:^[1][2][4]

Thomas signed his will on 13 April 1776. He died sometime before his will was proven on 22 July 1778. The probate inventory of his estate was taken on 3 December 1778.^[5]

His will mentions his wife Dorothy and his children Parke, Hezekiah, Jonas, Caleb, Thomas, Joanna, Dorothy, and Mary.^[5]
