Richard Woodward was born in September of 1677 in Newton, Massachusetts, the son of John and Rebecca Woodward. [1][2]
Richard purchased land in Canterbury on 8 Nov 1708.[3] He and Mary Woodward removed from Newton to Canterbury, Connecticut Colony, soon afterwards, between the birth of their third child Simon in 1708[4] and their fourth child Isaac in 1710/11.[5]
Richard made a nuncupative will; his son Noah was appointed administrator on 11 Sep 1739.[3] Perhaps it was proved by 23 Nov 1739, the date of death given in this profile.
