Biography
The son of Benjamin Woodward and Louisa (Mason) Woodward and one of triplets, Rollin was born in Charlotte in 1874.[1][2] When he registered for the World War I, he was living in Jackson, Michigan and working at Mutual Munitions Corporation. He stated that he was missing his left thumb and that his left eye was very poor. At the age of 44, he was described as being of medium height and build, with gray hair and blue eyes.[3] In 1920, he, along with a few other boarders, was boarding with divorcée, Louise Brown, in Jackson.[4] He passed away at Kalamazoo State Hospital at the age of 53[5][6] and is buried at Riverside Cemetery in Clinton, Michigan.[7]
Research Notes
His death certificate, which was not found on a search of FamilySearch nor Ancestry but a copy of which is on his FindAGrave memorial page, lists his marital status as "single."
