The son of William Woodworth and Sophia Feindel

George Philip married Masey Louisa Wensel, 1816 – 1896. Children: William Henry, 1836 – 1910; Mary Druscilla, 1843; Louisa A., 1846 – 1905; John Abner, 1847; Mary Mebrina, 1849; Hezekia, 1853; Margaret Ann, 1855; Joseph A., 1857; Sarah L., 1859; and Renetta, 1862 – 1891.
