My grandfather Bobbitt raised nine children by his first wife, 8 girls and one boy. Married again. Second wife raised nine children, boys and girls. My Grandfather Bobbitt moved to Mississippi and lived not far from where I was raised. He was a major in the Mexican War between the United States and Mexico."
