Chuck Woolery was a game show host, known for his tenure on "Wheel of Fortune," "Love Connection," and "Greed," as well as a jingle musician.[1]
Charles Herbert Woolery was born on March 16, 1941 in Ashland, Boyd, Kentucky, United States, son of James Daniel Woolery (~1910– ) and Katharine Jepson (~1911– ).[2]
After high school, Chuck served two years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Enterprise .[1]
Chuck worked as a wine consultant for Wasserstrom Wine and Import Company in Columbus, Ohio during the sixties.[1]
He married Terri Nelson, a daughter of David Oswald Nelson (1936-2011) in 1985. The couple divorced in 2004.
Chuck died on November 23, 2024 in Texas, United States, aged 83.[1] [3]
