Biography

Farmer
Per Creveling: Died before July 1791 when his widow remarried to John Jacob Olp.
Per Jones: Died before 1817 when his heirs joined in the first deeds settling his father's estate.

From "The Stull Family..." by Wayne Jones, pg. 518 "On Mar 1819, two deeds involving parts of the property were executed, apparently to clear up title deficiencies. In one of these deeds, [203] the three sons and heirs of 500(4)3.1 Philip Woolever, John and Philip of Mansfield Twp., Sussex Co., NJ and Henry of Alexandria Twp., Hunterdon Co, NJ, were the grantees and Jacob and Nancy of Mansfield Twp., Daniel and Charity of Jerseytown, Columbia co., PA, Elizabeth and Michael Bilheimer also of Jerseytown, PA, and Mary and John Thomas of Greenwood Twp., Columbia co., PA, were the grantors.

Together the grantors and grantees were all of the heirs of 500(4)3 John Woolever with the exception of his son, William, who it is presumed had died unmarried and without children. This was a quitclaim without consideration and covered only 57 and a quarter acres, thirteen perches. The deed gave Philip's three heirs the record title only when they executed the 1817 deed. It took a while to get the deed executed. Jacob and Nancy acknowledged it on 22 May 1819 in Sussex Co., NJ. On 10 Oct 1819, Jacob Winters testified in Columbia co., PA, that he saw Daniel and Charity, John Thomas and Mary and Michael Metherner (sic) and Elizabeth sign and finally on 26 May 1820, Jacob Winters testified in Sussex that he saw all the grantors sign. It finally got recorded on 21 Feb 1821.[85]

Wayne Jones lists only three sons of this Phillip: "Philip Woolever married and died before 22 Nov 1817, when his three sons joined his five siblings in a deed disposing of his former real property. He was the 500(4)3.1 Philip Woolever making a purchase at the Graudin Fulling Mill on 20 Nov 1784.[245] The sons were Henry, John C. and Philip as shown above."

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Philip by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Philip:
