Biography
Joseph Woolf was born in 1829 in Brighton, Sussex, England, the son of Julia Woolf and Aaron Woolf.[1]
He married Julia Hyams on 20 October 1858 at the Synagogue in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.[1][2] Their children were:[1]
- Aaron Woolf (1859–1884)
- Rosetta Woolf (1861–1943)
Julia died in December 1863.[1]
Joseph died on 23 August 1864 in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand, a suicide.[1]
