Harry Woolford was born in Heckfield, Hampshire, England.

Harry was born on 4 October 1896 in Heckfield, Hampshire, England, a small village in the north of the county; his birth was registered in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, England.^[1][2] He was the son of Frederick John Woolford and Mary Appleton.

When Harry was 28 he married Mary Louisa Hoare on 10 October 1924 in Basingstoke.^[3] The couple had one child: Iris Joan Woolford.

Harry died at the age of 75 on 28 July 1972 in Sherfield on Lodden, Hampshire, England; his death was registered in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.^[2]
