Sarah was born on 7 July 1866 at Stanley, Queensland, Australia. She was the daughter of Thomas Woolley and Jane Gordon Stewart. ^[1]

She married David Hopper on 19 April 1887 in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. ^[2]

The family lived at Cooranga North, north of Dalby, and adjoining to the northwest of the Bunya Mountains, Queensland, Australia.

Eventually settled at "Riselea" Cooranga North with son Norman Charles Hopper settling on property next to them "Range View" Cooranga North, Queensland, Australia.

She passed away on 11 January 1931 in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, aged 64 years. ^[3]
