John Woolley II was born about 1747, son of Thomas Wooley and Rachel Anne White.^[1]

Marriage and Children

John Woolley, "minor" married Rebecca Borden, daughter of Jeremiah Borden and Esther (Tilton) Borden on 14 October 1767 at the house of her stepfather, Amos White in Shrewsbury.^[1]

John and Rebecca had the following children:

1. Rachel Woolley b. 12- 4- 1767 [Bible] or 12-6-1767 [tombstone]; d; 3-30-1853; m. Thomas Hance (b. 10-30-1753), son of Jacob Hance and Ann White Hance. ^[2]
2. Esther Woolley b. 11-27-1769; d. 1-2-1845; m. 1) 1787 Ebenezer Hance (b. 3-14-1763; d. 1-18-1795), son of David Hance and Hannah Cook Hance; m. 2) 1807 Timothy Hance, brother to Ebenezer, his 3rd wife ^[2]
