Biography
Thomas Woolley was born on 5th October 1782 in Stoke Damerel, Devon, England. He was the son of
Walter Woolley and
Ruth Hodder .
[1] Thomas Woolley was a convict after the
Third Fleet transported to New South Wales
Thomas arrived in the Penal Colony of New South Wales in 1810 aboard the Admiral Gambier on a seven year sentence of transportation. [2]
Free by servitude, he became a publican in Parramatta. [2]
Thomas married Ann Hancy on 9th September 1816 in St John's Church of England (Anglican Cathedral), Parramatta. [3]
Aged 56 years, he passed away on 4th December 1838 in Parramatta. [4]
