Biography

Son of Jasper & Elizabeth "Betsey" G. Buel/Buell - he married first Fanny McBrier, daughter of an Irish immigrant on 15 Jan 1851 in NY. They lived in Rodman, NY and had three children: Frank Winfield (famous for F.W. Woolworths stores), Charles Sumner & Flora. They moved to Brownville, NY and later to Champion, NY. After Fanny died in 1878 he then married Elvira E. Unknown - he is buried at Sunnyside Cem, Great Bend, Jefferson, NY
