Elijah was born 1859. He is the son of William Word and N Gillispie.[1]

E Pickins Word was enumerated as son at District 1111, Carroll County, Georgia for the United States Census, 1880. He was noted as works on farm, born 1859 in Georgia and single. Also included in the household are self William A Word, wife N Elisabeth Word, daughter Evilina Word, son John B Word and son Hugh H Word.[2]
