As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[1] Benjamin Nabors Word is buried at Peete Cemetery in Limestone County, Alabama.[2]

Benjamin served in the Indian Wars as a Private, Company Critz's, Norwood's Battalion Alabama Militia. These were volunteers.
