Biography

Elizabeth Agnes Worden was born on 19 Apr 1850^[1] in Quebec, Canada.^[2] Her parents were John and Susan Worden.^[3]

Elizabeth married George Brooks on 14 July 1871 in Usborne, Huron County, Ontario.^[3]

They had the following children:

- Georgina Susan (1872, in Mitchell);^[4][2]

- Edith Mabel Annie (1874, in Exeter);^[5][1]

- Harriet (1876, in Exeter);^[6][2]

- Elizabeth A (1878, in Stephen Township),^[7][2]

- Herbert Franklin (1880, in Forest);^[8][2][1]

- George Nelson (1882);^[1]

- Lydia May (1885, Seaforth);^[9][10][1]

- Isabella Kirkton (1887-1887);^[1]

-James Ernest (1890).^[2][1]

In the 1901 Canada census, George and Elizabeth and several of their children were living in Hochelaga, Quebec.^[2]

Elizabeth died on 14 April 1922 in Ottawa. She was buried at Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal, Canada.^[1]
