Ernest Worden, 65, of Route 2, Thornville died at 7 a.m. Wednesday at his home. He had been ill since November 24.

Mr. Worden was a son of Mrs. Deborah Dumolt of Rehobeth.

He was a member of the Baptist Church in Newark and the Thornville Lodge F. & A. M.

Surviving, in addition to his mother are a daughter, Mrs. Doris Ryan of Columbus; two sons, David Worden of Reynoldsburg and Walter of Newark; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Goldie Sterling of Chesterhill; two half-sisters and six half-brothers.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in Criss Funeral Home in Newark.

Burial was made in Memorial Gardens in Newark.
