We can take this line back as follows: Roger Werden V (circa 1469/1480) & Ann Ffarington (1479); Robert Werden II (1436) & Margery du Bois (1443); William Werden (1405) & Isabel Clayton (????); Robert Werden I (1375) married circa 1403; and prior to that there were several Roger Werden persons, perhaps 4 of them, dating back to the Lancashire court rolls of 1246.
