Biography

Priscilla Wordsworth was born in 1842 in Harrow On The Hill, Middlesex. Her father was the Headmaster of Harrow School at the time.^[1][2]

In 1861, her family were living in Stanmore, Berkshire.^[3]

She nursed at King's College Hospital^[4]

She married Percy Steedman on 30th November 1878, at Riseholme Church in Lincoln (her father was the Bishop of Lincoln).^[5].^[6]

In 1881 she is at home in Harewood, Yorkshire with her husband and their first daughter.^[7]

The family are still there in 1891, but there are three daughters now.^[8]

By 1901, the family are living in the Rawlinson Road house in Oxford shown in photographs^[9] and are still there in 1911^[10]

She died on 20 JUL 1915 in Oxford and was buried on 22 Jul 1915 in Wolvercote Cemetery, Oxford.^[11][12]
