John Worley married Mary Ann Springer. Their children: Thomas, Michael, Daniel, Mary Ann, John, George, Rebecca Jane, Catherine (Worley) Firestone, Akey, Joseph, Nancy (Worley) Need and Jacob.
According to DAR records, john served in the Revolutionary War.[2]
Soon after the War of 1812 John brought his family to Ohio, near Morges in Rose Twp., Carroll County. He was founder of the Lutheran Church in his section.
